EPOCH Practice is a project co-funded by the European Union to promote knowledge and capacity building in support of the European Platform on Combatting Homelessness. In collaboration with FEANTSA Women and Barcelona City Council, EPOCH Practice is organising this training, which highlights the needs of women experiencing homelessness.

The training will take place on the 7th and 8th of April 2025 in Barcelona. The exact venue will be announced closer to the date.

The form serves as your application for the training. Confirmation of participation will be communicated by the 7th of February.

This training is the second, more advanced edition of the one held in November in Brussels. It is designed for local, national, and European policymakers and service providers, offering a deeper understanding of the specific challenges faced by women experiencing homelessness. During the training, we will explore problems and potential solutions with a team of expert practitioners in the field. It will also be an excellent opportunity to connect with stakeholders from across Europe, share experiences, exchange practices, and discuss challenges. Key topics will include trauma-informed care, and the agenda includes a visit to a service working with women.

Please note that training at the European level cannot provide "ready-to-go" solutions. Instead, it serves as an opportunity to gather ideas, inspiration, and contacts, as well as exchange effective practices. We mainly use non-formal education methods and we value mutual and collaborative learning within the participants.

A limited number of bursaries will be available for participants in need of financial assistance. These bursaries are provided on a reimbursement basis, up to a maximum amount of 400 euros (with the possibility of extending to 500 euros in exceptional cases). If you require a bursary, please send your request to epoch.practice@feantsa.org no later than the 2nd of February 2025. Requests submitted after this date will not be considered.
