Following the resignation of Joan Uribe Vilarrodona as FEANTSA President, the election of a new president was held at the FEANTSA Administrative Council (AC) held in Gda?sk, Poland on 20 May 2017. Ian Tilling, FEANTSA Vice-President and AC member for Romania, ran unopposed for the position and was duly elected as the new FEANTSA President for the remainder of the current mandate.
