A new report by the London Assembly housing committee on hidden homelessness estimates that there are 13 times more hidden homeless people in London than those who are sleeping rough. Young people are especially vulnerable to hidden homelessness. A fifth of young people in the UK reported to have sofa-surfed in the past year. Almost half of them have done so for more than a month.
