Paul Brummell, British Ambassador to Romania, supported an awareness-raising action organised by FEANTSA member Casa Ioana by sleeping outside on International Homeless Day. The Ambassador supports the work of Casa Ioana, which targets women and children experiencing domestic violence and family homelessness. He explained: "It's a global problem. It's a problem in the UK and in Romania. Solutions are not easy at all. There are many connections, for example, between homelessness and social problems such as domestic violence. So solutions are difficult, problems are everywhere. But that's why I think such an event is very important."
