According to research undertaken by Caritas, the City Mission, the Malteser Hilfsdienst, the Johanniter-Unfallhilfe and the Jenny De la Torre Foundation, in 2016, mobile health units treated 6,600 homeless people. The most common problems they encountered were skin issues, mental health problems and addiction. Each patient came back an average of four times.
