FEANTSA has launched a new section on the website for its campaign Be Fair, Europe – Stand Up for Homeless People. The new section will streamline access to the numerous resources the campaign has to offer, such as the FEANTSA Roadmaps for EU policy makers, as well as the campaign blog which updates the public on the campaign’s process while examining specific case studies. As well as this, the page features an in-depth section on the history of the campaign, in addition to a detailed section on all events held related to the campaign.
Overall, the campaign aims to cement homelessness into the EU agenda for the coming years with the objective of ending homelessness completely by 2030. To achieve this, the campaign asks that the EU:
1. Makes more effective use of existing policy instruments
2. Support homeless people in all relevant sectoral areas
3. Monitor homelessness and benchmarking progress at Member State level
4. Defend the rights of homeless people
5. Invest EU funds in ending homelessness.
