On May 29th Maria José Aldanas participated in a webinar organized by Eurodiaconia on Housing and the European Pillar of Social Rights. The webinar was directed to Eurodiaconia members as a capacity building webinar that aimed to provide a better understanding of the Social Pillar and to help them make the connection with their practical daily work. In her presentation she explained how FEANTSA saw the introduction of principle 19 on housing in the Pillar and our expectations/hopes for the future. She offered some data on the overall situation in the EU (from the 2018 Overview of Housing Exclusion), including a short section on how housing was addressed in the European Semester.
