The Fédération des acteurs de la solidarité have denounced the complete saturation of the 115, the number homeless people can call in France in order to find a shelter. The system is even more saturated than in winter, with 60% of requests for shelter not met in recent weeks. Hundreds of families, with kids, cannot find a place to stay, especially in some areas. The reason for that, according to Fédération des acteurs de la solidarité, is the “season management” of shelter places in France, which results in places opening in the winter, which are then closed, leading people back into the street.
