Training on LGBTIQ Youth
FEANTSA is supporting a training on housing exclusion for LGBTIQ Youth with Ljubljana Pride Association. The training is aimed at youth workers and other professional workers who come in contact with LGBTIQ+ youth. The idea is to spread awareness and deepen the understanding of the intersectional position of housing-excluded LGBTIQ+ youth to facilitate better services for them in different organisations and develop prevention work methods and tools. The training will take place from 21-27 November 2022 in Maribor, Slovenia and all the costs (travel, lodging and boarding) are covered with KA1 Erasmus+ project funds. The general conditions for the cooperation are:
- You would sign a partnership agreement with the organisers
- You would need to recruit 4-5 participants - youth workers/educators/field workers/your staff .. working within programmes and activities or somehow connected and interested professionally in the topic
- We would reimburse to the organisation the travel cost (max. 275 EUR or 360 EUR/person if coming by train)
- All other expenses are covered by us directly (food, programme, accommodation ...)
